DAN GILES

Dan is a session musician based in London who plays for theatre shows in the West End, on UK Tours and Internationally. Additionally he records and gigs with a number of artists and several pop, rock and soul bands. 

 

Currently he deps for several West End shows including Hamilton, Wicked, Mamma Mia, The Book Of Mormon and Moulin Rouge as well as for the ABBA Voyage arena show in London. 

 

He held the chair for the 2019/20 UK Tour of Priscilla Queen of The Desert. Previous West End deps include Dear Evan Hansen, Ain't Too Proud, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Waitress , Jesus Christ Superstar, Saturday Night Fever, A Strange Loop and Bring It On.

He also tours and records with several singer-songwriters, bands and performers. Credits include Rob Brydon, Tony Blackburn, Twinnie, Kezia Gill, Tom Seals and MAEVA.

Dan has recorded in top London studios including Abbey Road and also offers pro quality remote session bass recording from his home studio where he regularly records tracks for artists around the world.

 

He studied at The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts and is comfortable on 4 string, 5 string, fretless and double bass. He is also a competent electric and acoustic guitarist and endorses Cosmic Ears IEMs.
